Southern French Gothic Architecture

Southern French Gothic (gothique méridional) is a regionally specific style of Gothic architecture that developed in the south of France and, especially in ist exerior appearance, is simpler and much less ornate than northern French Gothic and uses predominantly brick as construction material instead of stone.
