Notes
During construction, the single-span, simply-supported girders of the bridge were stressed together using continuity tendons in order to launch the bridge incrementally. After the girders were put into their final position, the continuity tendons were de-stressed to achieve the chain of single-span girder that is typical for German high-speed rail bridges of that era.
