EDGE Südkreuz : The largest timber hybrid building in Berlin was built in the middle of Berlin to a design by Tchoban Voss Architekten. The innovative office complex houses the headquarters of the energy company Vattenfall and was awarded the DGNB Platinum and WELL Core Gold labels for sustainable building.

EDGE Südkreuz : The four office blocks of the Carré enclose an inner courtyard with a unique atmosphere, which, with its supports modeled on nature and an airy canopy of foil cushions, is designed to create an identity. The tree as the donor of the building's characteristic construction material, wood, is both materially and symbolically at the center of the architecture here.

EDGE Südkreuz : In this project, Blumer Lehmann was responsible for the planning and implementation of the wood cladding for the four tree-like steel columns, which are a special eye-catcher in the atrium and connect the landings at airy heights via free-floating stairs. The two structures were built using an elemental wood hybrid construction method based on the CREE Buildings System.

The Free Form team of the Swiss timber construction company transforms unusual shapes into feasible constructions using the latest planning and production methods - according to all the rules of engineering and timber construction.
