Abstract:

Three bridges built by cantilever construction method

This paper presents three bridges built by cantilever method. Las Fuentes bridge flies over Ebro river in Zaragoza and its formed by two twin structures of straight plan and three spans of 93-145-93 m. The Viaduct over Miño river, in Chantada developes five spans of 51-88-116-88-51 m. Piers have variable height between 26 and 86 m. Onton viaduct is formed by two twin structures of circular plan with a 400 m radius. It developes three spans of 72-120-72 m. Piers are 33 m tall.
