Abstract: |
Nesenbachtalbrücke – From competition to submissionComposite constructions confirm better and better in bridge constructions. The bridge presented in this paper consists of a welded box girder of S 355 J2G3 and high-tensile fine-grained steel S 690 Qll, which is used in Germany for the first time. This box girder is connected with steel tubes, which support transverse steel girders at a distance of approximately 4.0 m. These transverse girders support precasted concrete slabs with a thickness of 12 cm, which will be completed later with in-situ concrete to a total thickness of 40 cm. The composite action is secured by stirrups. This innovative building system requires neither falsework nor formwork. |
