Abstract: |
The New Railway Line Mannheim-Stuttgart, which was taken into service during the summer of 1991, consists of a large number of single structures. Each of those structures made great demands on the design engineers as well as on the construction companies. Other sections of the New Railway Line had been necessary to take different factors into account and thus it was not always possible to choose the most economic project. To meet different requirements, we did not shy away from technically difficult and rather novel solutions. As an example, the Tunnel Forst will be presented in this paper in more detail. |
