The Chifley Tower is a commercial development in the financial district of downtown Sydney consisting of four levels of underground parking, two levels of retail and commercial space in the remainder. The tower stands 55 levels tall (228 m) from its foundations and is crowned by a 25 m tall spire. The tower has an articulated facade with numerous setbacks and changes, including many column transfers. The typical mid-rise floor plate has a net area of approximately 1,500 m², whereas podium floors are in the order of 4,000 m². Typical floor-to-floor height is 4,075 mm, increasing to around 6,000 mm in the trading floor areas. |
