Detailed design for the excavation pit of the trough construction 2852-08 in the course of B 96n on Rügen

After completion of the 2nd Strelasundquerung, including the transport connection to the motorways A1, A11 and A20, the isle of Rügen will be quickly and comfortable accessible. The construction of the B 96n on Rügen is required in order to handle the in- and outbound traffic.
Due to the new construction of the 485 meter trough construction 2852-08, the B 96n crosses the railway line 6321 without changing height above terrain level. The construction has been completed in 2014.
The report is based on the building process and the geotechnical planning challenge concerning the implementation and the economical optimization of the excavation pit. Both refer to the tender planning as well as to the detailed engineering.
