Abstract:

This paper introduces the cable-stayed bridge which has the elliptic pylons. This bridge is the main bridge of the 4th construction zone, and has two spans and each of them is 115m long (2@115= 230m). The deck of the bridge is made of steel plate. It is located in the connecting road to Incheon Grand Bridge. There are several design issues; such as the landscape design concept of the bridge and the structural behaviour of the cable-stayed bridge. Also, a construction issue is the pylon roll- up erection.
