Brick Expressionism is a specific variant of expressionist architecture using bricks, tiles or clinker bricks as the main façade material. Buildings were erected in this style mostly in the 1920s in Germany (Ruhr Area and large cities in Northern Germany) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam School).
