Lacking profitability, the line is closed and passenger railroad traffic ceases.

1936

Freight railroad traffic ceases as well.

1983

French National Railways SNCF asks the Commission Départementale to explore the possibility that the bridge be taken back into service for the new RER Line C.

1984 — 1985

The bridge is completely restored.
