Notes

The Zakroczym Bridge is located on the pivotal Warsaw - Gdansk route, connecting the capital with the seaside. Opened in 1990, made the summer travel to the sea 4 kilometers shorter and 30 minutes faster. In fact, the Zakroczym Bridge is two bridges separated by 3 m space and standing on the same pillars; 4 of them stand in the water. The bridge is 542 m long and 29.5 m wide. Nice view from the bridge on how the River Bug joins Vistula, the old Russian Modlin fortress, and the old Russian granary. Unfortunately the traffic is usually heavy, so a walk across the bridge is not the pleasant one.
