Notes

The Wyszogród Bridge is among the youngest ones (1999) across Vistula. It is the longest bridge crossing Vistula (1200 m), though not the longest of all the bridges ever existing over Vistula. Located not only over Vistula, but also over a small lagoon at the convergence of Bzura River and Vistula. The bridge replaced the old one, the longest European wooden bridge, located ca 1 km up the river (unfortunately dismantled, since it posed a hazard during the ice periods). Together with the Czerniewice Bridge it has the deck located highest above the water surface. Almost exclusively transit traffic. Along the Knibawa Bridge the only huge bridge over Vistula which is not illuminated.
