Structural Description
The bridge consists of two external lattice trusses and a middle box girder in between the two tracks. This arrangement stems from the original bridge built in 1853, a wrought iron tubular structure, which was rebuilt with lateral steel truss in 1908 while the the central wrought iron box girder was retained.
