Notes
The bridge replaces an identical one built in 1935. It is named after the 6th British paratrooper division that took control of the Bénouville Bridge on June 6, 1944. The new bridge was completed for the 50th anniversary of D-Day. The name stems from the "Pegasus" emblem that all British paratrooper divisions carry.
