Notes
A total of 102 mostly different cushions were used to cover approx. 12,000 m² of the Cabo Norte shopping mall. The transparent ETFE cushions are supplied with air via a blower. The ventilation system controls the constant pressure and provides compensation for strong wind loads and changing temperatures. A special IR-cut film from Nowofol ensures a significant reduction of the thermal load in the interior. An aluminum profile system with silicone seals, specially developed for this project, allowed for easy installation and ensured the absolute tightness of the roof.
