As part of the Krakow metropolitan railway system expansion, a 40 m high asymmetrical viaduct pylon was erected in the second phase of construction, featuring a combined A and H geometry. At two thirds of the pylon height, horizontally suspended SB brace frames were used. These formed a load-bearing intermediate platform for the crossbeam, a technological platform for the reinforcement materials as well as, in the final phase, a sub-construction for the scaffolding in order to install the stay cables. The PERI comprehensive solution allowed short concreting cycles with the highest possible safety standards
