Economy of steel structures for large halls.

Planning of structures has been developed largely by a computer program-assisted planning into a computer program-dominated planning. Through the computer program-generated design eliminates a conscious choice of profile. The know-how of designing cannot be formed or it stunted. At three steel buildings it is shown by way of example that the shortage of know-how could lead to structures with uneconomical high use of materials.
