Abstract: |
Optimization of self-consumption, self-cover rate and net interaction of an apartment building with electromobility.Based on a small, well insulated multi-family dwelling with included e-car and large PV installation the load with the highest potential for increasing self-consumption is evaluated. The monitoring shows that the heat pump has the highest potential for increasing self-consumption. The run-time schedule of the heat pump is limited to daytime hours as a proof of concept. This increases the self-consumption and decreases the net interaction and also shaves the peak electricity export at noon. The thermal comfort does not decrease, hereby. The self-consumption rate and self-cover rate both depend on the balancing time period and the time-step chosen. This is an important aspect in regard to defining self-consumption requirements for building labels or energy codes. |
