Abstract: |
In the plant Ville Berrenrath Bunker Gotteshülfe about 30,000 tons of brown coal are transshipped in one day. The coal is transported on railway wagons directly from the open-cast to the bunker. Inside the hall the wagons stop at one of the 2 bridges running over the bunkers with a total length of 144 m. The wagons are opened so that the coal runs through the open-bridge deck in the bunker underneath the bridge. From there dredging machines put the coal on band-conveyors which carry the coal directly to its final destination. In this paper, the existing and new structures are briefly described. |
