Abstract:

New pedestrian bridge Hagelsbrunnenweg, Stuttgart.

The new steel pedestrian bridge in Stuttgart is situated in a woodland that is part of Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Form and structure of this bridge result from consequently combining conceptual design aspects with functional, structural as well as production-orientated considerations. Noteworthy is a detail design that is carefully integrating the bridge equipment. This article describes the conceptual design, the structural design as well as production and assembly of the new bridge.
