Green bridges as composite structures

Several types of structures are known to build green bridges and have been implemented in the past. Under the particular conditions of an even topography - even or flat terrain - and of construction whilst maintaining traffic above existing highly frequented motorways, a composite structure without central supports is described and the particularities of its design and construction are explained.
In the State of Brandenburg, in the last three years, three of these green bridges of the same construction type were erected with prefabricated composite elements.
