Ermittlung der Schnitt- und Verschiebungsgrößen von Kreisbogen

The calculation of the state variables of a circular arch according to first order theory, considering only M-deformations, can be carried out by analytical formulae. In this paper the calculation will be performed by using transfer matrix method. After having determined three unknown state variables at the initial point of the arch, the functions of all state variables can easily be calculated. Examples demonstrate the method in detail. Numerous diagrams allow the determination of the maximal moments with adjacent normal forces for different cases of loading and bearing. For the live loads p and V the position of loading is also given by these diagrams.
