Due to traffic congestion in Beaucaire and Tarascon, it was decided to bypass both cities. The new route crosses the River Rhone downstream of the two cities and for bridge projects were established by SETRA. The successful bid by Léon Grosse and Bauland TP was a cable-stayed solution in prestressed concrete. |
