Abstract:

The Hangzhou Jiangdong Bridge is a self-anchored suspension bridge with spatial main cables. The incremental launching method was used to erect the steel box girder, while five pairs of temporary hangers were utilized to laterally pull apart two main cables from the vertical plane to an inclined plane. System transformation is the key construction technology in this bridge. Many problems were solved satisfactorily for the spatial main cable system.
