Notes
The Szczucin Bridge is located on the road from Warsaw to Tarnów. Replaced the old one, destroyed by the Polish army in September 1939, which prevented the advancing Germans from encircling one the withdrawing defending armies. Built 1953, a bit heavy construction standing on 6 pillars, length 430 m, width 9.7 m. The most "lonely" Vistula bridge - no other bridge is so distant from its neighbours both up and down the river.
