Notes
Cut-and-cover tunnel using temporary sheet pile walls, underwater concrete and prestressed concrete tension piles. The tunnel is a reinforced concrete box structure.
Due to the lack of space the tunnel was built in two halves. After construction of the first half, the traffic was diverged through this tube creating enough space at surface for construction of the second half.
