Notes
This bridge was originally (1885) a railway bridge in Lachine, Quebec. However, when Canadian Pacific Railway needed to open a new route across western Canada, they dismantled it and then reconstructed it at Outlook in 1912. This 914-m long structure was finally retired from railway service in 1987 and was later converted to pedestrian use as part of the Trans-Canada Trail system - making it the longest pedestrian bridge in Canada.
