The Osseghem/Ossegem Metro Station is one of the metro stations on lines 2 and 6 of the Brussels Metro and was opened in 1982. It is named after the Osseghem neighbourhood: the name is of Germanic origin and is composed of Odso + -inga + gem, "residence of the people of Odso".
