Notes
First building equipped with stiff shear energy dissipation devices constructed in Lima, Peru. The devices have a double failure mode which makes them extremelly safe and reliable. The devices are made up of mild steel and are very simple to install/remove. The slabs are made up of a spatial truss and two thin layers of concrete with a total self weight of only 4kN/m².
