Notes
The Piekary Bridge is outside the administrative borders of Krakow, but it is used for daily intra-city commuting by many residents, trying to escape rush hour jams. Located on the highway, forming a south-western ring road of Krakow, is heavily used by cars traveling from Warsaw to the mountain resort of Zakopane and by cars traveling from Germany to Ukraine. Traffic tends to be very heavy here and the bridge is not a nice place for a walk. Running on top of the "Kosciuszko" water dam. 4 pillars, nice views over Western suburbs of Krakow, esp. the Bielany Monastery. Length 210 m, width just above 20 m.
