Notes
This is the largest mixed reticular arch constructed and the largest on the South American Pacific coast. The self-weight is minimal for a concrete structure and provided a competitive and a long-term durable solution. There are other two significant aspects for the structure:
- the offices are located outside the hangar and help compensate the arches horizontal outward thrust
- in between the arches there are inverted U concrete precast elements
