| January 1958 | The counter weight of the bridge of 270 tonnes breaks during a cold winter night. The counter weight drops 4 meters down into the counterweight chamber and is completely destroyed. Fortunately no one is hurt. Repaired by contractor Monberg and Thorsen. |
