Notes

The movable section is a double-leaf bascule bridge which has remained closed since 1970. Until then it would open five times daily for about twenty minutes. The opening and closing itself only took roughly 70 seconds.

The bridge commemorates the Japanese victory in the battle of Lushun during the Russo-Japanese War; "kachidoki" means "a shout of victory" in Japanese.
