Excerpt from Wikipedia
Åkeshov is a station in the Stockholm metro. The station was opened on 26 October 1952 as a part of the stretch between Hötorget and Vällingby. This is the final stop on Line 17 of the Green Line.
As part of Art in the Stockholm metro project, the station features a bronze sculpture in the ticket hall symbolizing non-violence, and was created by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd in 1998.
