Originally built to straddle Enlow Fork on the line between Washington and Greene counties in southwestern Pennsylvania.

1937

Mrs. Harleigh J. Carroll, Ackley's granddaughter, acquires the bridge and gives it to Henry Ford, who had been looking for a covered bridge to use in his Greenfield Village. The bridge was then dismantled and trucked to Dearborn to be re-assembled there.
