1832 | Originally built to straddle Enlow Fork on the line between Washington and Greene counties in southwestern Pennsylvania. |

1937 | Mrs. Harleigh J. Carroll, Ackley's granddaughter, acquires the bridge and gives it to Henry Ford, who had been looking for a covered bridge to use in his Greenfield Village. The bridge was then dismantled and trucked to Dearborn to be re-assembled there. |
