My Structurae

Once you have a user account for My Structurae you will have access to additional features that are not available to unregistered users:

Image Downloads

Photos and other images which are available under a free license such as Creative Commons or which are in the public domain can be downloaded at the highest available resolution.

Diagrams for Structure Types

For selected categories of structures the data will also be made available visually using diagrams, e.g. by plotting the span length of bridge types as they have developped over the years.

Full Texts for Selected Publications

Since September 2017 Structurae has been making available selected articles for viewing on the website and for download as PDF documents. More than 9000 publications are available!

Submit or Correct Information

On the various data pages for structures, persons, images, etc. registered users can submit additional information or corrections to Structurae editors for inclusion in the database.

News, trends, analyses and general information regarding civil and structural engineering

Stay up to date with Structurae! We will send you regular updates via email. With your user account you can update your profile or unsubscribe from our emails anytime.

Manage Own Personal Data

Within your account you can manage your own personal data anytime.

Additional features that will be made available at a later date are in development or planning. This includes for example:

Manage / Upload Own Images

More than 1000 persons have already contributed images for publication on Structurae. Through My Structurae users will become able to manage their own photos directly on the website and upload new ones.


Save structures, persons, publications, etc. in your favorites to find them again faster. Create collections of your favorites and share them with other users.
