A blue train crosses the Nine Arches Bridge also called The Bridge in the sky, which is one of the most iconic bridges in Sri Lanka

The bridge is one of the best examples of British railway constructions when Ceylon was yet a colony of the British Empire. It is located in Demodara, between Ella and Demodara railway stations. At about 3100 feet above the sea level, this 99.6ft high bridge is built entirely of solid rocks, bricks and cement without using a single piece of steel. The bridge was commissioned in 1921.
