Church of Saint Simon and Helena (Red Church)

It was built at the beginning of 20th century. The church was built with the support of Edward Vojnilovich, one of the prominent noblemen of Belarus. The church was named in memory of his children Simeon and Elena who died at an early age. One of the prestigious symbols of the capital, this church is known for ist Neo-Gothic style and red brick structure. It is interesting to note that the Union of cinematographers of Belarus was placed here during the Soviet era. After the church was returned to the believers, it was restored in ist former glory immediately.
