Behind the scenes at the construction of the slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit
The slide at the ArcelorMittal Orbit is the latest thrill London has on offer. Many hours were spent on building the UK's tallest and longest tunnel slide and this video is your exclusive view of the behind the scenes construction works. The slide offers riders the most thrilling descent from the top of the UK's tallest sculpture. Designed by Carsten Holler, a well-known creative artist, the slide is 178m long and is the world’s tallest. Riders can expect to reach speeds of up to 15 miles per hour during the 40 second descend.
