NYC Subway: The New Fulton Street Station

Today's film explores the brand new Fulton Street station complex in Lower Manhattan. It opened in November 2014 and provides access to four subway lines: The IRT Lexington Avenue Line (4 and 5 trains), the IRT Seventh Avenue Line (2 and 3 trains), the BMT Nassau Street Line (J and Z trains), and the IND Eighth Avenue Line (A and C trains). Moreover, there is a beautiful new building at the intersection of Fulton Street and Broadway with a spectacular glass roof. This film shows the new station in detail, including the building, some of the passageways that connect the different platforms, and of course some train action. Rolling stock that can be seen in the film: R142, R62, R46, and R32. Note: Since this was filmed on a Saturday there was no service on the BMT Nassau Street Line platform—all (J) trains terminated one station north at Chambers Street. Enjoy! Filmed on 21 March, 2015.
