Meet David Luyimbazi, the man who designed the Source of the Nile bridge
The newly opened Source of Nile Bridge in Jinja, was designed by Ugandan engineers with cooperation from Japanese consultants. NTV spoke to Engineer David Luyimbazi, the former Director of Planning, Uganda National Roads Authority, who headed the team that designed the cable bridge. The design and feasibility study for the bridge took three years and the works were done strictly without affecting the water flowing into Owen Falls Dam. NTVNews
