Media File No. 241862

View from the Ross Island Bridge of the towers of the new Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Bridge (in Portland, Oregon) under construction across the Willamette River as part of TriMet's Portland–Milwaukie light rail project. The bridge has not yet been officially named, but is temporarily being referred to as the Caruthers Bridge, for the street nearest its east end. In addition to MAX light rail trains, the bridge will carry TriMet buses, the city-owned Portland Streetcar, bicycles, pedestrians and emergency vehicles, but not any private motor vehicles. Visible in the background of this view are the Marquam Bridge (carrying I-5) and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI).
