Future structure for standards for masonry.The currently valid generation of national standards for masonry DIN 1053 will presumably be replaced this year by the European Standard DIN EN 1996 in conjunction with the national annexes. In this article the backgrounds of the European and national standards are illustrated and a survey of the future standards for masonry and masonry products is given. |
