The concept of cultural heritage is subject to a continuous evolution process. This is due to the perceptual modification of an increasingly sensitized society, involved by a changing environment but situated in front of this cultural heritage permanently. Expiry, as perception, incites us to preserve in some way all that time turns into past, since we have been active objects of its existence. The denominated Industrial Heritage is one of the aspects resulting from that social evolution, incorporated to named "Emerging Heritages". Its conservation management needs the previous understanding, so this article is dedicated.
