Abstract: |
Montabliz ViaductThe design, project and construction of the Montabliz Viaduct allow the Meseta Dual Carriageway to pass over the river Bisueña valley in the province of Cantabria. Its 145 m height, with the highest pier in Spain - amongst the four largest built to date in Europe -, its 175 m central span -built using the cantilever technique - and the design of its cross section -solved by means of a single box for the two carriageways, with a 26.1 m wide roadway - make the solution designed a very unique structure, constituting a basic connection element and public work playing a worthy role matching its surrounding. |
