Simplified rules for deflection control according to EC2 - Proposal for slabs in buildingsEC2 offers two methods for the control of deflections: one without and one with calculating the deflections. Both are not satisfying for the day-to-day work of the practising engineers. In this contribution a proposal for a simplified deflection control is made which provides a direct calculation of the required depth. |
