Abstract: |
U4 Hamburg HafenCity - tunnel Baakenhafen and trough Baakenwerder Straße (T+T) - anchor planning 3-D in the interactive dialogue with planners and executorsWith the completing of the construction of the subway line U4 from the station "Jungfernstieg" to the station "HafenCity Universität" the western and central part of the HafenCity were connected to an efficient public transport. The new quarters in the eastern part of the HafenCity that are currently planned also need an efficient public transport. For this purpose the line U4 will be extended from the station "HafenCity Universität" to the station "Elbbrücken". The building project "U4 Tunnel Baakenhafen und Trog Baakenwerder Straße" (hereafter called T+T) involves an approximately 710 m long tunnel as well as an approximately 230 m long trough construction made of waterproof concrete. The line will be executed double tracked. The installation of the civil engineering structure will be done in the protection of a watertight excavation pit made out of diaphragm walls and an anchored underwater concrete base. In particular the planning and execution of the grouted anchors in the area of the trough require a high quality in planning and execution to avoid collisions with other existing structures and anchors. For such planning tasks a 3-dimensional planning of the anchors is essential and offers many advantages for planning as well as quality assurance during the construction work. |
