Abstract: |
A tubular steel lighting tower at Kwangyang Stadium, Korea, has helped to double attendance at league soccer games, giving Kwangyang the highest attendance totals in the country, remarkable for a city with a population of only a hundred and fifty thousand. For enhanced lighting efficiency the neck of the tower has been bent at an angle of 23°, which made the structural system somewhat more complicated. |
