Abstract: |
While building information modelling (BIM) developed for new buildings, the majority of existing buildings needs to be maintained, rehabilitated or reconstructed. The promising benefits of BIM motivate the researchers to extend the BIM functionalities for existing buildings. This paper presents a BIM-based computer application that we have developed for diagnosis of concrete structural elements based on a knowledge base acquired from multiple references and the opportunities of BIM technology. |
